Notes
Notes:
I did remaster this before but I started with the file set that was in circulation at that time. This time I started with the raw wav files, thanks Chris for sending them to me.
The cuts and wow & flutter are still there but I think that the sound is now a good improvement over previous versions.
edited & mastered (with iZotope Ozone & Waves Z-Noise)

Imagine going to see the Dead at the Lyceum in 1972, but you had to spend the entire show sitting on the can in the Lyceum's men's room. Still, you recorded
...
the show from your stall. That's what you have here.

Thanx Chris, Graham, and SIrMick. A tough listen but some good stuff too. The Other One sounds better than most of the recording. Way out there. You
...
have to be a head to listen to this. Peace

That cover of "Mexican Hat Dance" is so brilliant that I could explode.

Read the Source: This was taped on an inexpensive hand-held recorder more than 35 years ago, in a large crowd. Adjust your expectations down a bit and

this is a fun listen. Pretend a buddy is calling you at a show on his cell phone and saying, "Dude, listen to this!" The sound is going to be about that good. And you can sometimes hear someone (Chris, maybe?) singing along. Cool.
This three-night stand in London was awesome, and we have only professionally recorded, remastered stuff....and this! I found this show while looking - in vain - for the 5/26 show. I figured I'd give this a whirl and the quality of the playing might be similar to the playing on the 26th. If you can accept the fact that you are listening to an admittedly inferior recording, you will notice that the playing in this show was actually pretty creative and fairly hot. No kidding. This is not for the faint of heart, but if one can go with the flow here, I think one might actually enjoy this show! I don't think that 3 stars is too high a rating here.
